Interact With Others
After being diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis, I was confused and felt very alone. I tried to hide my disease from others and had a hard time openly sharing it, even with my close friends. Through my journey in life I have come to realize that the worst thing I could do is not share my experience. After opening my arms to many people, sharing my story and talking to other people who have arthritis, I have realized the power of interaction. Helping people through sharing my story has greatly become my passion. I want to encourage you to share your story, learn from others and have confidence in the fact your story does matter.
Hold my hand and walk with me. We Must break the back of social inequity; We must empower ever individual with a disability, to live with dignity in an inclusive society.
